Concord Parks & Recreation Needs Lifeguards for Summer

Concord, NH (April 30, 2025) - While the City of Concord Parks & Recreation Department is

anxiously awaiting the official start of summer, the Department is actively hiring lifeguards. In

order to open all 6 pools this, summer the department has an immediate need to hire at least 15

additional lifeguards (15+ yrs. old) by May 16, 2025. If you or someone you know is looking for

an active, outdoor and flexible summer job, please apply online at www.concordnh.gov

This deadline is to ensure staff is on payroll and available to complete all required in-service

training prior to the start if the season.

If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard and are not certified, do not worry. Lifeguard

classes are available through Swim NH. Anyone hired on for summer 2025, who fulfills the

work requirement (4 or more shifts per week) will be reimbursed the cost of their certification.
