New CommUNITY Activity Program at Parks and Recreation - VOLUNTEERS Needed!

A huge thank you to the Community Event Fund and Parks & Recreation for approving the new, free CommUNITY Activities Program which is scheduled to start Saturday, February 24th 2-5pm! This program is designed for Concord youth to strengthen community bonds through PLAY! There will be pick-up basketball and indoor soccer games in the gym, and various art and board games activities in the program room. This is a free program and pre-registration is required (space is limited). For info on registration, go to the Parks & Recreation website here or visit the City Wide Community Center front desk.


URGENT: We are looking for volunteers to help supervise and run art/board game activities. For every adult volunteer who signs up... 15 more youth can participate!


Two volunteer orientation training dates are available:

  • Saturday, Feb 17 at 9:30am

  • Tuesday, Feb 20 at 5:30pm

  • Contact Parks and Rec if neither of these dates work for you!


CommUNITY Program details:


Location:

  • City Wide Community Center - 14 Canterbury Rd Concord, NH

Time/Dates:

  • Saturdays 2-5pm

  • Sundays 3-6pm

  • February 24th to April 28th 2024


Ages:

  • 6-18 years old

  • Youth ages 9 and under must have a guardian 16yo or older

  • All ages must pre-register

  • Parent/guardians may accompany their child


Cost:

  • Free


Registration:

  • In person pre-registration is REQUIRED

  • Space is limited

  • Youth ages 9 and under are required to have a guardian 16yo or older

  • Once registered, participant is set for the entire 10 week program.
