Hello, Friends of SPARC!
To get SPARC up and running, the first priority is hiring staff! We've been told by Parks and Recreation: "no staff, no program"- so please apply today! If you or someone you know is passionate about engaging youth and building belonging in our community, these roles could be the perfect fit. SPARC Guest Service Associate (Ages 18+)
Pay Rate: $18.49 - $20.37 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 1 - 6pm, December – March
This position will be the lead for the SPARC program.

SPARC Program Recreation Attendant (Ages 16+)
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 1 - 6 pm, December to March
This position assists the SPARC Guest Service Attendant, supervising the gym or the art room during SPARC programs and implementing games and activities.

Program Dates & Details
Pending successful staffing and training, Parks and Recreation expects SPARC to begin in December 2024, with sessions likely scheduled for afternoons from ~2-5 p.m., running through March. SPARC will continue at the City Wide Community Center, with a potential satellite program planned for the Penacook Community Center. Exact dates and times will depend on staffing, and we’ll share further details as soon as they’re available.
Similarly, volunteer trainings and sign ups will be posted as soon as staffing is sorted out. Thank you for you patience!!
